Vanessa Behan is an invaluable Spokane nonprofit that provides a helping hand to parents of young children experiencing a crisis. The nursery cares for children under the age of seven and provides parenting education, crisis counseling and other services.

The John J. Hemmingson Foundation contributed $500,000 to Vanessa Behan’s Project Every Kid campaign, which is working to open a new facility that will serve three times as many kids as the previous facility.
